I hope everyone’s new year is off to a positive and healthy start, and I want to wish the best of 2022 to our partners.

We realize many people are still facing challenges, with the lingering impact of Covid and persistent supply chain issues. However, there are several reasons to be optimistic about our industry and this future direction.

We’re resuming many of the activities we’ve missed over the past two years, including trade shows and other industry events. They may look and feel different, but you can’t replace the value of in-person collaboration. Many companies (Hanwha included) continue to introduce new and innovative products. Security and surveillance system deployments are continuing at a healthy pace.

At Hanwha, we have ambitious plans for 2022.

Our Innovation and Technology Experience in New Jersey officially opened its doors last month, giving visitors a public preview of the future of security and surveillance. Read more in this issue about how our industry can use this resource. We plan to launch dozens of new products throughout the year and and open new facilities. Most important, we’re continuing to invest in our people, adding several new faces to our sales and marketing teams to improve and streamline everything we do.
